FitFreak Pro
From an idea to a launched coaching platform that puts every client plan in one place
Struo created FitFreak Pro’s product strategy, brand, iOS and Android application, backend systems, Stripe subscription flow, marketing website, and launch materials—giving independent coaches one consistent way to deliver their own workouts, demonstration videos, nutrition targets, and progress process.

Launch outcomes
Commercial launch on two platforms
FitFreak Pro completed its official commercial launch on iOS and Android after an earlier beta app-store release.
Connected coach and client experiences
The production product supports the full path from coach-created exercises and programs to client workouts, nutrition logging, and progress submissions.
Stripe subscriptions operating in production
Invited clients can activate platform access through Stripe at $12.99 per month, while coach accounts remain free.
At least 25 minutes saved in one observed workflow
During a July launch-period workflow test, one coach completed saved-program assignment and nutrition-target setup in approximately five minutes, compared with more than 30 minutes using the coach’s previous process.
This was one observed coach workflow and is not a universal time-saving guarantee.
Client testimonial
“The biggest difference for me is consistency. Every client gets their program, instructions, and videos in the same format, so I’m not repeating the same explanation five times.”
Turning a fragmented coaching process into one clear product
From specification to product
FitFreak Pro began as an idea and product specification rather than an existing application. The opportunity was to turn a real coaching-delivery problem into a focused mobile product.
Independent trainers often deliver strong coaching through a mixture of spreadsheets, PDF plans, text messages, demonstration-video links, shared folders, nutrition tools, notes, and manual progress check-ins. That process can work for a small roster, but it becomes harder to maintain as the number of clients grows.
The coaching-delivery problem
Plans have to be rebuilt or resent. Exercise instructions become scattered across messages. Nutrition targets and progress records sit in separate systems. Clients may not know where to find the latest version of the plan, and coaches repeatedly search for links or explain the same movement.
The product therefore needed to organize the delivery process without replacing the trainer’s expertise. The coach still had to own the programming, demonstrations, instructions, targets, and coaching decisions.
Success criteria
- Provide distinct coach and client experiences in one connected product.
- Let coaches create and reuse their own exercise content and programs.
- Deliver workout instructions, sets, repetitions, load or time, and demonstration videos clearly.
- Connect nutrition targets and progress information to the client record.
- Support coach invitations and client-paid recurring platform access.
- Launch consistently on iOS and Android.
- Give coaches the ability to run normal coaching workflows without Struo performing day-to-day program administration.
Building the product, business model, and operating system together
FitFreak Pro is an affiliated product venture developed and operated by Struo Consulting. The owner of FitFreak Pro LLC is also a co-founder of Struo Consulting; this was not an unrelated external-client engagement.
Struo owned the engagement from concept through commercial launch and continues to operate the technical platform. The work included product strategy, naming, brand identity, UX and UI design, mobile and backend development, payments, testing, deployment, the marketing website, sales materials, and operating documentation.
Keep the coach at the centre
FitFreak Pro was designed around a real coach rather than an automated programming algorithm. This protected the value of the coach’s methodology and ensured that exercises, instructions, videos, programs, nutrition targets, and adjustments remained human-led.
Create separate but connected roles
Coaches and clients need different tools. The coach experience focuses on reusable content, client records, assignments, targets, and review. The client experience focuses on clarity: today’s plan, exercise details, demonstration videos, nutrition targets, and progress submissions. Both roles connect through the same client relationship and data flow.
Make coaching assets reusable
The product was structured around reusable exercise sections, original coach demonstrations, and saved workout programs. This reduced the need to rebuild plans and resend the same instructions for every client while preserving individual assignment and adjustment.
Align onboarding with the commercial model
FitFreak Pro uses coach-led acquisition. A coach invites a specific client, and the client activates the personalized digital coaching experience through Stripe. This keeps the coach-client relationship at the centre of the product rather than positioning the application as a direct-to-consumer workout library.
What we built
A reusable operating workspace for coaches
Coaches can create professional profiles, view active clients, filter the client list, and open a structured client record with About, Workouts, Parameters, and Nutrition areas. The coach can build an exercise library using original descriptions, instructions, videos, and thumbnails; create reusable multi-day programs; assign sets, load or time, and repetitions; and update client nutrition targets.
- Coach onboarding and professional profiles
- Client dashboard and filters
- Unified client record
- Exercise sections and reusable exercise library
- Original exercise instructions and media
- Multi-day workout-program builder
- Saved-program assignment
- Client parameters and progress review
- Nutrition review and target updates
- Availability schedule blocks
One clear place for the coach’s plan
Clients join through a coach invitation, activate access through Stripe, and receive a mobile experience organised around the coach’s plan. They can review the current workout, open detailed exercise instructions, check sets and repetitions, watch the coach’s demonstration video, follow nutrition targets, log meals and water, and submit dated progress information.
- Coach invitation and account connection
- Stripe subscription activation
- Daily dashboard
- Assigned workouts
- Exercise instructions and demonstration videos
- Sets, load or time, and repetitions

A production-ready invitation and subscription flow
Struo implemented the account, invitation, access, and payment lifecycle required by the business model. Coaches generate invitations for specific clients. Invited clients register, connect to the coach, review the current subscription amount, complete payment through Stripe, and return to an active dashboard.

- Coach invitation codes
- Invitation history
- Stripe checkout
- Active-access confirmation
- Account settings
- Privacy-policy access

These materials gave the product a consistent identity across the mobile application, sales process, onboarding, and support.

Product walkthrough
A consistent product for coaches, clients, and ongoing operations
User impact
The latest plan stays in one place
Clients no longer need to search through old messages for the latest workout or demonstration link. The assigned plan, sets, repetitions, load or time, coach instructions, video, nutrition targets, and progress process are available in one mobile experience.
The coach’s method remains recognizable
Approved client feedback indicates greater confidence when training independently and more continuity while travelling, because the experience still reflects the coach’s plan rather than a generic program.
Business impact
A defined recurring-access product
FitFreak Pro moved from an initial concept to a commercially launched product with a defined recurring-access model, public app-store distribution, a marketing website, and a consistent product identity.
Coach-led acquisition
The coach invites the client, the client activates the personalized digital coaching experience, and the ongoing relationship remains attached to that coach.
Operational impact
Reusable coaching assets
The reusable library and saved-program model allow coaches to organise their own exercises, videos, instructions, and workout structures once, then use and adjust them across individual client plans.
A faster observed assignment workflow
In one July launch-period workflow test, a coach completed saved-program assignment and nutrition-target setup in approximately five minutes. The comparable previous process took more than 30 minutes. This observed saving of at least 25 minutes applies only to that specific workflow and is not a universal guarantee.
Delivery impact
One connected engagement
Struo delivered the product, brand, mobile applications, backend systems, payment flow, marketing website, launch materials, and operating documentation as one connected engagement.
Independent daily coaching
Coaches can independently manage their normal profiles, exercise content, invitations, programs, client assignments, nutrition targets, and client records. Struo remains responsible for the underlying platform operation and technical lifecycle rather than performing the coaches’ daily work.
Technology and delivery
The mobile product uses Flutter and Dart with GetX, REST/JSON API communication, SQLite local storage, and Flutter media and video plugins. Stripe supports invited-client subscriptions, and AppMetrica provides product analytics.
